Dr. Dennery formed the Research Cabinet in 2015 when she arrived at Hasbro Children's Hospital. The research cabinet is comprised of eight members. The members of the Research Cabinet offer their experience and wisdom to anyone who seeks advice and assistance. Whether you are just starting to think about a research project or are well into the process, please contact them.

If you are a new investigator and would like guidance and advice on developing your research question our team of experts are willing to offer any suggestions that will help you bring it to the application stage. Experienced investigators and mid-career investigators should feel free to reach out to any cabinet member for help and guidance with manuscripts, publications, and grant writing. Mission Statement

The Mission of the Research Cabinet is to support and promote visibility, impact, and Scholarship of all members of the Department of Pediatrics.

To achieve this, the Research Cabinet of the Department of Pediatrics will address the following:

Identify and promote opportunities for pediatric faculty and trainees to undertake scholarly activities in all forms
Provide personal, direct support to help faculty produce scholarly works
Enhance the research infrastructure of the Department through identification of grant opportunities, facilitation of grant submissions, and advocacy on the department's behalf with the medical school and hospital systems
Identify and foster collaboration outside and within the Department of Pediatrics
Identify and promote faculty professional development opportunities
Support and enhance the department's mentoring program
Advance the hiring of academic faculty
